Person and tracking
Place your camera sideways. Keep shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand visible. Avoid moving towards or away from the lens.
Resistance
Close Settings. Drag the yellow arrow tip to adjust both force magnitude and direction. Drag its round base along the forearm to move the application point. Force gauge values can also be entered here.
A manually entered reading is not a synchronised force time series. Direction is measured counterclockwise from rightward horizontal (0° right, 90° up, −90° down).
Tip: select Known weight or Force gauge in Settings, close the panel, then drag the arrow on the arm view. Weight is always downward; other force directions use Force gauge mode.
Experimental planar quasi-static joint moment estimate. Not a maximum-strength test or validated clinical measurement. Segment properties use anthropometric assumptions, and camera tracking has limits. These are external moments, not measured muscle torque or strength. Handheld force readings must include their direction and point of application.

Signed external moments about the joint. Positive is counterclockwise. The balancing joint moment has the opposite sign.
Recent 20 seconds, approximate external joint moment (Nm).
Data remains in this browser until you export. A single manually entered force value is not a measured time series.
